Yes obviously sick call with so much on the line. Also think Newhouse gave it away by snap shoving. Think he tanks a bit if he has it.

I feel like people check jx there over tt because they feel like TT deserves to win cos you know they got dealt a premium whereas Jx is unsure but feels a touch less at risk because they are less scared of overs and have more outs vs an overpair. Flop peel so bad by newhouse, wouldnt even hate a fold pre. Its not like hes going to get abused when they find out his hand, they'll find out hes right. Tonking never light peeling from the big, I think his only loose play was the weird a6o open.


Tonking looked like he wanted to vomit on the river, I'm going for a sick reverse tell.


Newhouse can poss fold pre def fold flop and turn bet is criminal.

Pretty certain he wasn't bluffing river.  He showed his hand like the nuts once called and snap looked crushed.  Well that's how I took it to me.  Can't wait to see a clip.

The biggest reason NOT to call river w QQ is the psychological impact of finishing back to back 9th IMO.

Newhouse was very lucky to make it to 9th imo.

He isn't in the class of the likes of Jacobsen, Stephensen and Van Hoof.

I don't like his shove at all, especially given his image and how few jacks he has pre, though he of all people has a few more jacks than others. Also agree that he did it far too quickly. That's adrenaline for ya.

yeah the better players wiill definitely punish him now they've seen him check back that 55 hand. He has a good seat though

hard to punish him if he doesnt value bet thinly though, maybe exploit him folding vs his value bets.

i think hes best player on final, was tipping him pre final.

his river calling range that we beat is, kj, j7, 67, maybe few others

he can also jam river a lot with 78, 86 kind of hands and put us in brutal spot.

not sure why everybody thinks river is terrible? saw him getting a lot of stick on twitter. maybe i just looking through rose tinted glasses though
