not funny, not funny and even less funny

Have you seen any of them live? Or just on panel shows?

From above
Seen Reg D Hunter live twice. First time was a 20min set at the Komedia, very good
2nd time was his own gig at the Brighton comedy festival. Bloody awful, all he done was swear as much as possible.
IMO most of the comedians listed in this thread are very funny seeing them the first time on the live comedy circuit. Seeing them again is usually a disappointment.

Jo Brand and Alan Davies on QI, then Micky Flanagan on Graham Norton - it's a right shitfest on the BBC tonight.

Noel Fielding is so unfunny, no idea how he's made it where he has.
Although I don't mind David Mitchell I can't stand some of his shows (such as Peep Show, so dreadful as a programme)

no why would i see them live if i don't like them?
these days the first exposure most of us get is via panel shows
if i don't like the persona they project on there, i am not shelling out "tour" prices to see them live
I appreciate that getting on board with them in the early days, before they make it to TV, would give me a different impression of them

Years ago I used to enjoy "Home Improvement" with Tim Allen.
In Vegas, maybe 4 years ago he was doing a stand up show at the Venetian and I was at a loose end so I bought a ticket/
I should have walked out when he started the show with "Honestly I don't mean to offend anyone, it is just the way I see the world"
I soon found out sees the world through racist, sexist, misogynist and xenophobic eyes.
I didn't laugh once.

I saw Absinthe.
I wasn't offended, but couldn't see why everyone was raving about it.
OK, but nothing special.

Lucy Porter, saw her a few years ago on Brum, she got some hecklers thrown out,

On the same billing as Lucy was Marcus Brigstocke, he was an arrogant, unfunny giant cock.

A black group left when I went and he started laying into them. In fairness he took the piss out of just about everyone!!!

A mate of mine went out with Lucy Porter for a few months just before she started to become famous.
Confirmed not funny.

She went on the Ladrokes cruise a few years back, decent looking bird to be fair.

Was ok on Mock The Week but his Good News show was pretty poor imo. Whenever he said something that was supposed to be funny he just got a bit shouty and waved his arms a bit.

Thought she was, but the whole trip was very hazy, and couldn't remember if it was the same bird
