U2
I'd be more inclined to put this in the other thread, most people seem to have a right go at U2 these days. Bono can't do anything right without a massive backlash.

U2
Another band that I should like because I was a big fan back in the day. Saw them at Wembley in 1992 and it was the bet stadium gig I've ever been to. Amazing music, amazing stage-show. However, now they just roll out hackneyed bullshit rock that would be instantly forgettable if it didn't sound like all the other stuff they're making now.

People seem to love musicals and the music from them. I think there are a handful of musicals I've enjoyed, and a few I've endured, but otherwise I find it tedious nonsense on the whole. I'm probably just a heathen.

With you on the musicals, they don't do it for me. Les Mis was ok though.

That is exactly my POV too, its like they have made 1 record in ten years but keep releasing it under a different name.

Pink Floyd, Arcade Fire, Kaiser Chiefs (used to like them until I saw them at a festival and Wilson's on-stage arrogance just put me off them), Muse (for the most part).
I still like U2, but don't think I've heard anything by them since You've got to go there to Come Back (or whatever it was called).

Book of Mormon should be the exception to this rule. Still quite probably the funniest thing I've ever watched and no number of repeat visits can replicate seeing it for the first time.

Nearly forgot.
David Bowie.
This. I like a couple of his defining songs, but the majority of what he has churned out has been drivel. Emperors news clothes IMO. Two David Bowie's really 1971-1984 great Pre 1971 (Laughing Gnome anyone?) and post 1984 dire
