22 killed in a stampede to get in the Stadium before a League Football match in Egypt.
The match went ahead as planned.
One player, Omar Gaber, refused to play, out of respect for the dead, so his Club suspended him.

70 years ago today (in fact, it was over 3 days, 13th, 14th & 15th of Feb 1945) , the City of Dresden in Germany was subjected to a series of ferocious bombing raids by the Allies.
The bombs were high explosive, & incendiary, designed to set fire to anything & everything.
Some 25,000 civilians were killed. For context, some 3,000 people died in the 9/11 tragedy, though many more later, indirectly.
To expedite the burials & cremations in Dresden, they cremated them in the City Square, in batches of 500.
