The Shire Horse Society annual affair takes place this weekend in Grantham.
They have some big buggers there, look at the neck on this one.

I think you have made a mistake Tikay.
I think its actually a photo of Freddie "Actonbeech"s tip in the Chelmsford parade ring, before the race, last night!

Truly bizarre story, pretty sure more revelations to come, but he appears to be toast as a Candidate?

On Sunday, in Leicester, some King bloke, who died 500 years ago or whatever, was given a formal burial.
Can you imagine spending a day to watch the procession, which, as far as I can tell, simply consisted of a horse drawn hearse, a car full of local dignataries, & that's about it?
Nobody likes history shit, do they?
But it seems they do - look at those crowds. Liverpool v Man U was on TV, too. Supposedly, 35,000 came to see the burial. (Of the King, not Liverpool), but that's just guesswork, it was probably half that. Even so, tidy number.
What an amazingly diverse society we live in. You'd have to pay me a lot of money to watch tosh like that, but I daresay they think the same of us poker players.

Then, on Monday, you could go & file past the coffin in Leicester Cathedral.
People queued for FIVE hours, some 5,000 of them.
I can barely believe all this.
