I love Angelina. She's intelligent, funny and beautiful.
But is the fact she's had her ovaries removed REALLY newsworthy?
Think it is a huge story.
Elective surgery of this type for these reasons is a agonising decision for many, that until recently got no mainstream coverage. In these times of celebrity culture I think its brilliant and important that she is willing to publicise such an issue.
Fair enough.
I was wrong.

Joan Collins became a Dame yesterday, though heaven knows why.
Amazingly, she is 81. The lady in red is her Daughter, & might pass for being Joan's mum.

"The photographer who broke the internet's heart"
The child is in fact not a boy, but a four-year-old girl, Hudea. The image was taken at the Atmeh refugee camp in Syria, in December last year. She travelled to the camp - around 10 km from the Turkish border - with her mother and two siblings. It is some 150 km from their home in Hama......

Daily life must be a bundle of fun there. And that, presumably, is better than from where they fled.
