Just how good is it to have Tighty and Tal providing these updates. Well done guys.

Awesome.  Like Stephen fry and Sid Waddell when they did the darts commentary together.  Two natural wordsmiths. GL all blondes left in.

Does that make tikay Rod Harrington?

Chip count on jay scott please table 2 seat 2 please rich thanx in advance

He is on the feature table

a couple of hours ago i peered over the feature table to try to transcribe a hand and i was swooped on by a crack team of floor managers

"no no no you mustn't be in shot" they said

saving myself before i was tackled to the ground and escorted from the premises bald patch first, i retreated tail firmly between my ample legs

anyway, i digress

mr scott has a chance of being on the telly, depending on the edit

he is button to chinese frankie in the small and rastafish in the big

all this means that he will be at the doctor's on monday morning with earache in his left ear, but his right ear is perfectly fine

he has 400,000 at 6-12k

Terrence Davies, who famously knocked out Mr Trigg with 24, called a four bet with 99 to cripple tikay, who held queens. The balance went in with AJ and, alack, AK had been dealt to Mr Davies, who found the call button once more.

Our latte-swilling ippy-waving schmoozasaurus is now fulfilling his other duties on the rail.

I read that word in the last sentence as fluffing!  Not sure if it was a typo now.

Yes glad you said that!  Exactly what I was thinking!  He will be happy. Sure he found time to have a four figure wager on Stoke today!! He hasn't had much to do this week!

Any news of Greg "junior-senior" Hill?

The last time he was mentioned he appeared to be on a particularly tough table.

While the action is a little less flamboyant, let me try to set the scene a little.

The club is busy without being uncomfortable. I'd say like it would be for the mid-stages of a Saturday night Super50, where there is a smattering of cash games and the side event going on on the top level. Most, but not all tables are occupied and there is a healthy buzz about the place.

We are just coming to the next level, which will be 8k/16k/2k.

230k, my sources tell me. That's half average.

Jonathan Kalmar has knocked out Vitas Gapsevicius in a blind on blind battle

Vitas was very short, but Kalmar set him in and he called with A-Q

Kalmar 6-7

7 on the flop, and we are down to 100 left

--

Meanwhile, in mad turk land

Toby Robinson raised to 27,000

turk called in the blinds

check Robinson 25,000 call

two hearts

Robinson all in 115,000

mad turk says that he has jacks (the one hand he hasn't got then) and "am i winning?"

and calls with A-7

Rbinson has 8-8 and his flopped set holds to double him up

Terrance Davies knocks out Tan Le

Le AQ runs into Davies KK

The first card out is a queen, raising expectations no doubt, but the board runs out Q-8-J-2-J to take us 10 places away from the money

George2Loose was about average, last I saw. Still raising under the gun. Still making chips. Metronomic. Hypnotic. Effective.

Thank you.

That's plenty for a man who regularly shoots under par.

there isn't a live stram, it is being filmed for sky sports coverage in the months to come

can you imagine tal and myself on commentary?

this afternoon's topics at our table have ranged from blackadder, cowdenbeath, through the keyhole, keith lemon, lesley joseph, the buffalo bills, falcao, berahino, 50 shades, six nations and racing in ireland

fine, unless you like to listen to poker stuff
