Well done Fraser and Chris, both really nice guys, glad I was part of it for a short time at least :-)

fraser completes, vernon checks

J-Q-J

check, 850,000, call

7 two hearts on the board

check vernon 1.1m, fraser shows KQ and folds.....
Folded top two pair with King kicker?

Correct.

Many congrats to all who did so well in this Event, especially the Finalists, & most of all, Fraser, who qualified via a satellite on Sky Poker I gather.

It was a joy to watch the final table.

Rarely, if ever, have I witnessed a Final Table worth so much (£200,000 to the winner) where there was so much chatting & banter between the players, no bad blood, & the players warmly congratulating each other along the way.

Special mention to Matas, aka  "Lithuania", who has had an amazing & deserved run of success, that boy has a wonderful future in poker, & seems a lovely lad, his table demeanour was superb, & he has a terrific personality. When in a hand, he had the game face on, but at all other times, he was smiling readily. Lovely to see.

The TV Series will likely appear in late May, & I hope it captures the atmo & banter, was a great Final.

After Alex Spencer's inaugural win, & now Fraser, (Doncaster & Sheffield respectively?) maybe it should be called the YUKPC.

Thanks for the rail guys, what a rollercoaster day.

Fair to say i had some amazingly good turn/ river cards, especially the on the final table in the 3 way all in.

FInal table, as Tikay said seemed more like a 1/1 cash game than a 1k FT, lots of good humour, laughing and im sure will make a great advert for poker when aired on TV.

Congrats to Fraser, he had a couple of awesome spots, and really put 'Lithuania' to the sword in a couple of spots, as seen by the limp jam with 107dd! Really nice guy, and a worthy winner.

Thanks for the love and rail guys, Fraser and I were saying the whole FT how awesome the updates have been, and great to see Tighty and Tal back at DTD. Really hope they are back for good, DTD comps are so much better with them.

Thanks again all!!

Ended up in a Kebab house at 9am with Matas, absolute hero, words just can't explain. I've seen few guys as robotic and stoic as Tom Hall but I've never seen anyone look as relaxed as Matas with that sort of $ on the line. Congrats to all, huge score for all, Verndog played an absolute blinder, its been ridiculous few days.

On Day 1c - I had Vernon - Boatman - Hall to my right.

The fact 2 of the 3 were in the top 5 makes me feel a bit better about being back home before dinner!
