forgive me for asking, but I see the pts bit quite a lot,

Liverpool 10pts -  what does that actually mean?

its wotever ur stake is. e.g... if u use 1 pt as £1 then u bet £10 on liverpool and £3 on carlisle.  If u use 1 pt as £5 then u bet £50 on liverpool and £15 carlisle. You cant change your point value tho, as this will just mess up your records and u wont know if ur in profit or not.  my pt value is £30 a pt, so ill have £300 on liverpool and £90 on carlisle.

if both teams win im 9 pts in profit (£30 x 9) £270

if just liverpool win then im still 2 pts in profit.  (5 pts from the liverpool win - 3 pts from the carlisle loss) £60 up

if just carlisle win then im 3 pts loss (7 pts from the carlisle win - 10 pts from the liverpool loss)  £90 down

im hoping that by the time ive posted 50 tips that i will be in a very nice profit!

if they both lose then im 13 pts loss, 13 x £30 = £390 down

of the 4 selections i picked yesterday 3 of them won. The carlisle result was a shock to everyone...

carlisle @ 2.37 (3pts) = loss

liverpool @ 1.5 (10 pts) = win

inter milan @ 1.40 (2 pts) = win

barcelona @ 1.33 (10 pts) - win

At the end of the day my tips are currently 6 pts in profit!!

I'm happy, I had a bit on the Inter game, cheers for that.  I would thank you for the Liverpool one too but I was already on it Wink

I watched the highlights and post match comments of the carlise game. Maccelsfield really went to town on this game, letting kids in for a quid the place was buzzing and they made it a real cuptie atmosphere and Horton said it was the best they had played for a long time, just sucks carlise had an off day.

no tips for tonight guys.....not much happening. But for tomorrow ive gone for QPR and swansea. The reasoning behind this is......

swansea have only lost 1 home game this season and have the best defensive record (conceded 11) they are home to gillingham who have the worst away record in england. No wins away from home only picking up 5 pts from 39, they have only scored 5 goals away from home all season (they are worse than sunderland lol)

QPR are at home to leicester who have only 1 away win and the 2nd worse away record in the league, conceding twice as many as they score. QPR  won 2-1 earlier in the season at the walker stadium.

swansea @ 1.57 (10 pts)
QPR @ 1.80 (5 pts)

for wednesday im going for liverpol, chelsea and arsenal,  not much value, but it should boost my bankroll b4 the weekends games.  The reasoning is..........

liverpool have only lost once at home and only dropped 5 pts (against man utd and chelsea). In their 11 home games they,ve kept 10 clean sheets only conceding 4 goals (which was against chelsea).....they are playing birmingham who only have 2 away wins and have only scored 6 away goals all season. Birmingham concede, 3 times as much as they score away from home and with liverpool keeping 10/11 clean sheets this should be an easy home win.

chelsea who have the best away record only conceding 5 goals in 11 games are playing aston villa who lose more than they win and concede more than score at home.... chelsea probably will rest players for the liverpool game on sunday but should take this by the odd goal.

arsenal have a better home record than liverpool, they too have only dropped 5 pts (also to man utd and chelsea) they,ve kept 8 clean sheets scoring 27 goals and conceding 4....they are playing west ham whos 4 away wins have been by 1 goal margins to fulham, birmingham, villa and everton ( so no real test) arsenal should walk this!!

chelsea @ 1.44 (5 pts)
arsenal @ 1.40 (7 pts)
liverpool @ 1.29 (10 pts)

im pretty confident these 5 will all win bringing home a 18pt profit.

olympiakos came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 so thats now 4/5 that have won

carlisle @ 2.37 (3pts) = loss  (3-0)

liverpool @ 1.5 (10pts) = win  (2-1)

inter milan @ 1.40 (2pts) = win (2-0)

barcelona @ 1.33 (10pts) = win  (2-0)

olympiakos @ 1.35 (10pts) = win (3-2)

Alright mystery, I've got a bit of spare money left dormant in my Willhill account so I'll follow your tips at £3 per point for now.

i cant beleive your risking 37pts to win 18pts and thinking its a good success rate to get 4 out of 5 right

man if i was to tip 100 games i think i could get near 90% right and i aint a gambler
