Calling Acidmouse! Historical photo help needed.

If you're out there Acidmouse I would really like you to have a look at an old album I found whilst sorting through a job lot of car-boot sale style stuff.
The album its self is in extremely poor condition and has no writing on as the spine cover is missing.

On opening it I found these old photos of what appear to be scenes from around Europe, but a few pages in I discovered that mostly all of the pictures had come loose from their mountings and were just placed in anyhow.
It was then I noticed that most of them weren't photos as you would imagine them, but thin like pictures cut from a magazine.

Some of them have captions on the front and some have the name Albert Hautecoer and the address of a paris studio stamped in purple on the back, some have the name Sophus Williams Nachf. Berlin 1901 printed on the back but most are blank save a odd penciled number.

A few seem to be more like a real photograph, but are more amateurish and quite faded like these including a portrait of a young lady with her camera.

Others don't fit into either category...

I think what they may mostly be are some kind of souvenir images bought on the album owners travels, but google hasn't helped me at all so I was hoping you might be able to shed some light?
Sorry about the poor quality of the my pictures I just snapped them on my phone.
Thanks in advance x

was the Pont Notre Dame
can't quite find the right modern angle on an image
but the building back right of the two images matches?

It most probably is Tighty as there are several images of Notre Dame from different angles amongst the pictures, they are quite striking as there are wide rough streets around the catherdral in the them, empty save an odd horse or pedestrian which looks strange when you think how busy it is there nowadays.

The thin ones are albumen prints, some can be rare, but need to still have strong contrast (not faded) to have value.
French views are generally common, but some photographers & publisher's are rarer. Russia & the Caucasus are scarce, good China & Asia views rarer still.
Like the camel roller, sale-able image that.

Thanks Tonji, now I know what they are I can research them a bit more. I don't have any Russian or Asian as far as I can tell, but I have identified France, Spain, Italy, Malta, maybe Germany? I'm unsure where the camel one was taken.
They mostly good clear images, better than they look in my bad photos.
Is there somewhere I could take them to be appraised?

A quick search for Sophus Williams
Sophus Williams (actually: Sophus Vilhelm Schou) (* July 5, 1835 in Copenhagen; † October 18, 1900 in Grabow (Möckern)) was a Danish German photographer.
It appears a few of his photos are held in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam
https://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/search?v=&s=&q=Sophus%20Williams&ii=0&p=1
Sophus Williams and E Linde & Co as noted on some of your photos (verlag means publisher)
https://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/search?p=1&ps=12&maker=Sophus%20Williams%20%26%20E.%20Linde%20%26%20Co.&ii=0
Something to get you started.

The camel photo is outside a photographers studio under the name of CE Medrington. Can't find much online apart from a postcard for sale that indicates CE Medrington was based in Las Palmas

hey Geo, top research, hope your well.
I've been cataloging an archive I bought last year of about 50000 kodachrome slides from the 50s to 70s for a social history project. Fancy a job!

I'm well sir,
I find photography, especially the older stuff yourself and Acid have put up fascinating and am generally at a loose end most evenings so enjoy bimbling about the web, using it for more constructive means.
I'm sure you are the ideal man to point Redsgirl in the right direction

Thanks a lot Geo, I'll definitely be taking a look at those links, when I googled him the results were in German so you've done better than me already
As you said Tonji has been a great help, before he replied I wasn't even sure if they were real photos or cut out pictures like you'd get in a scrap book!
I knew the good folk of blonde wouldn't let me down.
If you like a bit of detective work I could post some of mystery locations?
