Is PokerNews not hosting the live updates for the WSOP this year?

Is WSOP.com the only site where updates are available?

As far as I am aware, yes.

From what I can see, the 2 Events in progress are being well covered so far on WSOP.com

I note my Fantasy League selections are all well to the fore, too. As expected.

After event #1 you are tied for the lead.

The WSOP.com site just isn't as easy as pokernews.com for extracting the necessary information from.
It's not a big problem though.

No, they no longer hold the contract.

I understand WSOP have taken it "in-house".

A blonde regular has been recruited, "sharplea", he may have more info.

They have and I am here. First event for me is Event 3, in approximately 4 hours time.

Every night our media centre guys will upload current chip counts to the update page in the tab for chip counts, and current bustouts in the money will be uploaded to the results tab. As for the locations, we get the city/country when they register, hence why UK players who live overseas can be tough to spot sometimes.
