Theresa May decides to communicate to young people with an interview in the Sunday Telegraph.

(She’s talking to old people about young people.)

Do you think Labour's position on Brexit is clear or unclear/confusing?

The good news if you're Labour: Tories are really, really worried.
The bad news: They've woken up to the threat.

she appears to have said this with a straight face

May admits Tories weren't ready for the snap election she called

http://news.sky.com/story/may-admits-tories-werent-ready-for-the-snap-election-she-called-11057598

She also said there wasn't enough debate before the election.

SHE REFUSED TO APPEAR IN THE LEADERS DEBATE!

Obviously the advice was "you are 20 pts ahead, dont give Labour the chance to debate you on TV"

Agreed, this was a big mistake....I guess, one that wont ever be repeated.

Ah ...May agrees on the radio this morning that "next time it will be done differently".
However I guess it won't be her on the stage..... maybe Rudd now? Talk of her changing to a safer seat at next election!

I thought Amber Rudd when I saw this, but she immediately had a car crash on technology.

Summary, I don't understand...ban it...stop sneering at me for banning something I don't understand.

I realise it is a hard balance, but still...

Tories definitely need a leader not seen as part of the traditional political class. A lot of voters still want to give a kicking to anyone seen as part of the establishment.

They need a leader that can sell a vision to both young and old.

Can you imagine Hammond or Davis appealing to anyone under 30?

Some people think I was mad suggesting Davidson earlier in this thread but on so many levels she ticks the right image boxes.

Definitely ticks the boxes.
Doesn't look like she is a runner next time around......but she should be persuaded to go for a parliamentary seat if the Tories want their best shot at staying in power.
