He is happy for corruption to continue, so long as it benefits England.

 Platini’s lawyer, Thibaud d’Ales, revealed his client was told about the life-ban demand, which he branded a “scandal” and “excessive”.

“This ban is subject to the proof of corruption, but the punishment is clearly excessive,” D’Ales said.


So a life ban for corruption is not excessive then? Ok....
