Irritating that they keep blurting their answer out over the sound of their own buzzer as well.

Got about 6/7 last night. Me and the missus shouting Craig David in unison after 1 second being the highlight.

Lol. I get the odd Beethoven correct using that method.

I quoted the wrong post. I actually mean the post quoted below. i.e. if it's a composer round and I don't know the answer I shout out the same name every time.

My stock answer poet is Wordworth and my painter is Monet.

Got the Swan Lake one but did answer Swan Lake to the previous two questions as well so I guess that devalues that answer.

I tend to alternate between Manet and Monet.

This lot were brilliant in the first episode:-

Powell was so extravagant, had us in fits just saying his name. Woods had that look on her face the whole game - the cat that got the cream. Different walks of life these people, got nothing like that at Portsmouth Uni...

BTOBS.

I would not necessarily say they're mutually exclusive.

we are proper university challenge geeks here - We have an official scorebook and pen and scores are allocated as per the show with 10 for a starter and 5 for a bonus, playing against each other.  Usually average 60-80 points an episode, my record is 165 Cool

Miserable result, confused The Pet Shop Boys with Daft Punk. Barely troubled the scorers after that.
