I think I played with you last year RED, did you play on day 1a by any chance? I bust almost last hand of the day. Will be there this friday to try and bink it.

I played twice. Can't remember which days but I can look it up when I get home.

do you keep a diary of all the tournaments you play, or are you going to ask Mrs Red?

Good luck Tom. I hate these comps on principle becaus they double the rake for no reason at all because they attract such a non price sensitive client base by offering a huge upstairs win figure.  I think it is disgraceful. I would love an official reason why they charge 20% juice on these types of events (dtd are excluded because they do fortunes on Sats online on top of golden chip bonuses for their Grand Prix which gros don't do either).  They are making North of £100k in rake this week on a £100 buy in event of their predictions are correct for attendance if you add in the cash game rake and bar sales.

No worries I would throw up to ten bullelts at this if they didn't take the piss and double the rake and add nothing to the coup re golden chips like dtd do. Show me any other grov based £100 comp in any of their UK card rooms which isn't £100+10 over the past year.  If anything they should run this comp cheaper rake wise because of the huge Economies of scale they have given they own the building outright and it sits there doing nothing all week.  Instead they choose to really take the piss out of the grass roots of poker and give nothing back.

It's costing me £10 more than it should, but it's great fun, which makes it > buying dinner for Celtic.

No nandos at Ricoh so you cost yourself a tenner as he doesn't eat anything else.

GL Today Sir. Have you got this bug back for playing live after reading all Tikay's Vegas exploits?.....or do you actually want to do well and have been reading other diaries?

PS. My cover photo on facebook actually includes your good self in it (and Tikay giving you coaching). If you make day 2, i will post it up. (that will give me enough time to figure how to actually post it up here).

You doubled up yet?

Nope.

As usual I seem to have the smallest stack on the table.

Not just the smallest stack amount wise, but also the smallest number of chips regardless of denomination wise.

I'm a true grinder in the sense that the more I grind it the smaller it gets.
