Call me an idiot in a few months, but I think you are absolutely doing your money on Derham. Anton is rubbish at the Latin dances and can't really do the lifts. The public would need to absolutely LOVE her for her to win. Probably a great back to lay option though as price will definitely come in.

Thought I said as much?

Some worrying song choices tonight. Iwan's tango is going to be a little odd, I suspect.
Kellie loving the entry music. I am expecting she is going to be fun this series.

That was fun. A little off in her balance (so it looked a bit floppy) but her hand position was good and she made a good job of her first dance.
Wasn't a tango, of course. Kinks FFS?
27 a fair score for week one. Her timing was good so I expect her to be ok in the latin dance next week.

Ogogo will be hanging around for a while methinks.
Flailed about a bit but he can be coached.
His steps were too big, but that should be an asset in the waltz next week.

As a general point, cha cha and waltz are the dances you'd start teaching beginners, because the timing and basics are relatively easy to follow.

Helen is going to get pummelled on her footwork. Barely a heel in sight.

It was a nice dance for sure and certainly the most difficult of the three routines.
But bear in mind it's a little easier for the women being led in hold in the ballroom dances.
Notable that Len gave her the same score as Kellie.

I'm going out on a limb here...
...Carol won't win.
Heard it here first, folks.
She had fun, though. 16 fair. She may still beat O'Donnell and Vine.

Footwork excellent! Mr O'Donnell?
Ok, it's a bit wonky from the ankle up, but it's better than I expected.
I am looking forward to his rumba
