yeah i'm on the facebook...it's far simpler to take a step back and look at whats being thrown at you unlike any other poker site (even pokerstars) and let things resolve themselves as they always do...like you said...shit happens...we still got our health.

Never ceases to amaze me how angry people get over nothing.

What is the freeroll for anyway?

pokerfest main event seats next weekend

£300,000 GTD event, seats are £330

mental value freeroll. meanwhile, over on facebook, people threw themselves off the ledge that this hit a problem

So this weekend is just a standard £300 dtd DS under another name?  Are there seats taken out of the £300k gtd like a normal deepstack?  If it is a £300k cash prizepool i might play it.

it is building up to the big WPT at the end of the year

Hats off to Rob (as per usual) - but I probably won't bother because I have real trouble getting getting Piss-poor Poker to work on my tablet, when playing live round Luton    ......     gl gl to those that can 'get on'.

Bring back iPoker ftw (ahem    .....      only teasing!).

Well it's not "nothing", but yes, I could not agree more, people get SO angry so easily these days. Anger never solves anything.

Part of my job involves dealing with queries from poker players, & you would not believe how petty some of the complaints are. Genuine complaints, yes, but nothing a balanced individual would get angry about. Life must be good if we can get angry at such trivialities.

And the most frequent complaints are about what? Freerolls. What a thing this "sense of entitlement" is.

Yeah yeah yeah....so what is the password for this freeroll?Huh??!!!!!!!!! <<< (that amount of exclamation marks should help)     Roll Eyes

TBF to Rob & PP, it was 'sorted' within the hour and notifications put up on FB etc. I actually feel sympathy for the folks who run/admin the PP facebook page. Some players want an instant answer 24/7 from this forum page. It isnt customer services, and it was actually a Bank Holiday yesterday where some of these admins were actually not 'working' but still attempted to answer queries.

One chap got so angry that he thought it might help his cause if he spammed the same line he wrote over and over again to be heard. Thankfully, I think he got a ban in the end.

I stopped reading after those multi-exclamation marks Alan. You know how to make a calm man angry. And I was wondering why people got angry over trivial matters. Wink Exclamation marks grind my gears something shocking.

For me walking back from a concert like I did the other week and seeing four homeless men individually along the way asking for food or money, reading about an ex soldier struggling to find a job or losing a loved one is why I justifiably see someone getting upset over...a freeroll for goodness sake - I don't think so.

Ha.

I have no memory of that, but I see a mighty amount of such comments aimed in my direction, & I see them every day.

Poker Scout & 2+2 contain a rich vein of such stuff. I once read the Sky Poker section of Poker Scout's room review, never seen anything like it. "FIXED, SCAM, RIGGED".  So I looked up the Pokerstars Room Reviews on Poker Scout, & guess what? "FIXED, SCAM, RIGGED".......

My favourite - by far, was the guy who said that dramatic pause before the river card was dealt (which is dialled in for effect on some sites) was "so the software could find the right card to bust you". I mean, how do you respond to that sort of stuff?

Where do you find it on the Party poker software? The software set up for finding events is awful.  Scrolling down for ages to find anything.

its a very crowded lobby

the filtering system is ok

it will be under freerolls, which if you scroll down under "game name" on the left hand side is a sperate category
