Pontefract cakes are better.


Did you know that 87% of all liquorice grown in the UK is grown in Pontefract & the surrounding areas?

And almost all of that liquorice is used in the manufacture of........cigarettes?

Incred, & that MANTIS fella thinks we don't have interesting stuff on blonde. Outrageous, we have a whole wall of it. Proper wall, too. THATS a wall sunshine.

Pontefract cakes aren't even cakes, and lol at anyone who falls for the old 'growing liquorice' gag. That one was past it's prime when Esther Ranzen used it as an April Fools joke on That's Life is 1972.
