Any of the old timers on here remember this? Someone posted a link to it on the betfair forum.  Just before my time.  Amazed i haven't heard about it from someone though before.  The first episode is proper old school gambling.  Not a HUD in sight in the card game around 12 minutes in.  All cash/no ipads/headphones in sight and some amazing clothes and beer brands on show.  Smoke everywhere as standard. How things have moved on 30 years down the line.

Loved it, vaguely remember someone posting about it a few years ago. Was unavailable to buy at that time.

Was it the one with Robbie Box in it?

Remember my Dad loving it and watching it with him on many occasions.

Damn I feel old!

Watched this without fail when it was first shown. Just watched the first episode and will be watching it all again.
Didn't the world look different in 1984.

Funny, I saw Ray Brooks yesterday enjoying a pint Smiley

He lives in Kew and his local is near my boys school, and I often see him.

Brilliant series.

Was a big fan. All those old massive £50 notes on the table!

Robbie Box was also Mr Ben!

I've got the lot on DVD somewhere, but it probably got chucked in a box when we last moved house.

Saw a few episodes with the parents when I was a nipper, but didn't really understand what was going on.
