Quite like Sandi (she was very good on news quiz) and only one I could think could take over from Mr Fry.

Lamarr on Buzzcock's was just vicious and therefore hilarious.

I think Vicky Coren would of been in with a shout, and dare I say it, easier on the eye?

My offering - Jim Bowen on Bullseye.

Got a bit of a quandary now. I like QI very much but I can't stand the sound of that woman's horrible voice. I've never heard her say anything entertaining anyway, but a voice like that should rule you out of broadcasting. There are two things that mean I will only suffer any programme they are on for a limited time until I can't bear it any more, no matter how much I like the show, and they are her voice and Jimmy Carr's laugh, both of which should make them ineligible for appearing on TV or radio.

Agree Coren would have been a good choice.

Les Dennis on Family Fortunes got to be up there.

Jim Bowen on Bullseye a good shout. Same with Bob Holness.

However, how have you forgotten Bruce Forsyth on The Price is Right?!

I have. Can't remember him doing that. Leslie Crowther was the definitive host for that show. Same goes for Crackerjack.

Forsyth did it for longer than Crowther did!  Crowther was before my time, but Bruce's Price is Right was on the TV solidly from 1995 - 2001 I think.

Great shout.  The 'new' bullseye with the new presenter a few years ago was dire.

Mark Lamarr and Simon Amstell both very good on Buzzcocks.

Long since tired of Carol on countdown, Rachel far better, though the 8 out of 10 cats version is the best anyway.
