i don't think there is a ready replacement, though 2 of Albrighton, Gray and Diabete would be there if we played tomorrow

3-5-2 would allow two attacking full backs to push on

what we are missing is a proper number 10 to play behind Vardy and hopefully that is where Maddison from Norwich comes in

changing style last season from a team that was happy to have 30-35% possession and transition quickly on the counter to one that had 50% plus possession regularly had its teething problems and the main one was we didn't have creativity in central areas to break teams down

It's incredible really, this guy was at aberdeen on loan this time last year. He was OK. I'm guessing the big transfer fee is based on potential, or the EPL really has gone mad.

Ha not sure what happens in chalobah situation.  Does it go to compensation due to age?  Presumably Chelsea didn’t think that process would result in 5 million.

Chalobah fee was I think due to Chelsea breaking promises to him re game time (according to the italian pod he was on) gentlemens agreement type stuff

Maddison I have seen a few times lots of ability but needs a LOT of positional work be surprised if he starts a lot this season anyway
