Poshies pick up Tom Nichols from Exeter. Incred signing.

We'd been linked with him and some of our fans were hoping it was us getting him.  Agree it looks to be an excellent signing.

As someone pointed out on our forum, in a discussion moaning about how bad BFC are at getting value for their players, "Posh will probably sell him for £4m in 12 months time."

£24m is crazy money for Berahino, so overrated imo. What did Charlie Austin go for in the end, £4m? I know it's based in many factors such as age, contract length etc but Jesus Christ... Would snap take Austin for £15m but not sure about Berahino. Also Remy forecasted to be around half the price of Sadio..

Austin older got/had dodgy knees on even bigger wages. I actually like Berahino lovely natural finisher

On a seperate note the Chinese league continuing its march to world domination by bidding for every Brazilian ever born just had 45 million for Hulk turned down

Agree with this.
Austin was £4m coz he's out of contract in 6 months. He probably got at least £10m signing on fee. Either that or his wages are astronomical. And the dodgy knees has definitely put clubs off.
Remy is another crock. Pool signed him, then did a medical on him and ran a mile. Chelsea then signed him and he's injured half the time.
Saido could well look a snip in a couple of years when the TV money kicks in and good players are routinely going for £50m.

Darragh said a few weeks ago that we have a future star pretty much sorted from L2. "Player only ever wanted to join us".

These boys look at Posh as a stepping stone to bigger things now. Can't knock what Darragh does, we're getting some real quality coming in these days.

Sell Conor, pick up Coulthirst and Nichols. Amazing business.

Think if a team not in relegation battle offered £24m wba would be more inclined to accept, Pearce seems beyond stubborn.

V happy with this transfer window though, not sure about us getting Enrique back tho, he's been ruined at Liverpool, granted injuries mainly

Rhodes about to be confirmed, after he told his agents to drop their demands for bonus' that would have seen his deal be worth 30 million over 4 years!

Also signing some Belgian kid, De Laet on loan on Leicester (maybe) and a Scottish lid which would take us to 6 signings for the month!

I can't understand our policy in January. The chairman said we would spend if we are around the play-offs come January, all we got was Hooper and a couple of loan signings. There is no guarantee we will be better off this time next season, so why not spend the money now. As I see it, we will make the play-offs, but would not be able to beat the likes of Burnley, Derby or Hull as they just have too much quality.

Disappointing and may well end up costing us.

Watford quietly sign 2 "wonderkids" for a combined £16 million and loan them out immediately.  Guess the management are happy with the long term security in the premier league!

What an incredibly exciting transfer window this hasn't been.

Delighted that Brentford kept hold of Alan Judge. Equally delighted we've managed to scam Burnley into paying £6mil for Tarkowski. Unreal price.

Surely not? Sean Dyche doesnt have any money to spend. Boro and Derby spent it all!

Confuses me why teams like Spurs and Arsenal who both have genuine title chances haven't added one or two players to try improve, both could improve on areas

Window shut. Watford alone in 2015-16 spent more, net, than Arsenal, Spurs, Villa, Saints, Swans, Norwich COMBINED.

Depends doesnt it, as a Boro fan, we signed 3 players on deadline day, 5/6 overall and got in the best goalscorer in the football league since 2012. I really enjoyed it!

Ha, of course. I meant in terms of the premier league.
