Right, I've been given a choice to stay in the Caesars Palace , Excalibur, Circus Circus, Wynn Las, Vegas, MGM Grand, Flamingo, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, New York New York, Aladdin, Mirage, or Harrah's.

Too many choices! What's everyone's recommendations?

What's your budget?

Have you before?

Are you paying?

How long are you there for?

Wynn if you aren't paying Smiley

If they are picking up the bill.. then its the Wynn, Avoid circus circus... its next on the list for blowing up and re developing... so it wont be in the best of order.  Caesars is excellent as is the mgm grand.

Wynn for opulence.

Mirage for Position. Nice cardroom as well.

Caesars is too big IMHO. Go look, but too much to stay in.

I am sure there will be a multitude of differing opinions Smiley

When are you going again?

I shouldn't even be offering an opinion, I am a Downtown gal...

I'm going from the 26th June til 3rd of July. I demand you come out for my birthday if you're there around that time!

I have no idea where to stay, I just looked at the Wynn's website and it does look like a decadent luxury palace though. Cool

The more opinions the better.

The Wynn for oppulence or Caesars if you would rather have a central location. We stayed at Caesars in December and I tend to agree with Heid it is a little too big and impersonal.

That's a good idea Snoops. What I'd really like too is a list of some of the regular poker games going on at some of the main places on the strip, anyone know where I could get that? (I know it's 5 months away, but I'm rubbish at preparation!)

i thought the wynn was too sterile and didn't have much of an atmosphere - you really feel like you should be a millionaire staying in that place... the games are a lot more expensive than other hotels as well, in case you like the tables.

Caesers is a good bet - nice, central and fun.  Luxor was nice too, although a little out the way.

 Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

but what about the running of the cardroom at blackpool?? How would they cope in your 13 week absense?? (you need to spend at least 1 week in each of the 13 listed hotels to be able to offer a proper review! Wink)
