i would like to find leading players, poker forums and facebook communities etc in the following countries for a project i have.

a long shot possibly, but do you know of any (who are the leading players, for example?)?

sharkscope lists the best scoring online MTT player by country, as does pocket sortable rankings.   Sharkscope also does STTs if you put any game by country (2015 probably better than 2016).

From memory

For the Asian markets I have no idea, but if I was snooping around, I'd look at what PokerStars are doing in Asia as they are putting a lot of resource into that market, then see whom they are working with etc.

Hungary - PokerNews and PokerStrategy both have relatively strong presence here.

Lithuania - PokerNews are massive here. Also have a word with Warren Lush, Tony G's right hand man.

South Africa - no idea but assuming this is for DTD, ask Rob to ask Sam Trickett, who did a lot of promo work in South Africa at one time

For South American markets who speak Spanish, also look at dominant Spain based poker sites, as they all get a lot of South American traffic (Which is why many of them promote rooms that are not actually legal in Spain itself).

But generally speaking that is a stinker of a homework assignment.

Poker De Las Americas is a site that caters to most South American countries, I found a forum through it that was pretty popular + facebook page, twitter etc. Can't remember the name but I'll try find it for you.

There are some theads on 2plus2 in the travel section that act as a kind of community for several places and may have some good info if you have the time to wade through all the crap, or maybe you can just post on there
