Overcard on the flop decision

Playing 1/1 in the casino, with £370 behind in the SB.

We have  : :
UTG+1 (who is and old guy who I've played a few times, he just likes seeing flops and is pretty passive) min raises to 2, folds round to me and I 3bet to 7. BB folds.

I c-bet to 12 and the old guy tank shoves for his remaining 60.

What are our thoughts on this move and where do we think we are? What do we do?

i wouldn't 3 bet this hand i would just call.

Folding now, dry flop vs a passive player. Looks like minimum top pair a lot of the time. We block the only realistic draw (5-7)

I think 3betting is better from the SB vs this player type and with only one player to act. Our hand is ahead of his range and initiative will make our life easier given middle pairs arent always the easiest to play.

Would bet about £8 on this texture, 12 seems too much. Fold now vs the jam imo, our hand plays too badly vs his overall jamming range i reckon and we have 2 blockers to one of his legit semi-bluffs.

I'm not a fan of the 3b pre tbh, and I don't think it makes the hand easier to play. We're going to be seeing a flop regardless, and we're going to be OOP with what will likely be really shitty bluffcatcher (in that it's normally pretty hard for small/medium pairs to improve if they miss the flop) vs someone who we know to be passive (which I take to mean does a lot of calling). Just no need for this imo, better to just take a cheap flop because building a pot vs this type of player is unlikely to be an issue if we get there. Would rather just 3b big cards.

Definitely have to fold to the jam now for reasons stated, block the main draw and passive players tend to be the sort to call weak hands rather than get aggressive with them.
