Then I'm torn between a safe Steve Perryman (most appearances) and a controversial Daniel Levy (for securing the future of the club with a new stadium and Champions League football).

The latter is probably a touch premature and could backfire hideously, of course.

Goalscorers:

Romario - probably one of the greatest I ever seen, clinical and was always my number one signing on Championship Manager italia back in the Amiga days. 
Henrik Larsson - the greatest Celtic goal machine I ever watched.
Alan Shearer - clinical, selfish and not many histrionics.
Marco Van Basten - absolute class and we were robbed os his best years I feel.

Category Nomination - Football Stadiums With the best atmosphere.

NBA players since 1990:

Michael Jordan- The absolute GOAT. No explanation needed.
Kobe Bryant- A beast in the modern era; 5 nba titles, >33,000 points, unbeatable on his day.
Tim Duncan- Still playing, entering his 20th season, solid forward who consistently put in top performances for the Spurs. Will he ever retire? Who knows.
Shaquille O'Neal- During his peak he was the greatest defensive player I've seen, not so hot on free throws but I'll let him off, especially if it means keeping lebron out this list.

Eric Seidel.   Stood the test of time and always seems to carry himself very well

Chip Reese : Arguably the best poker player to live. It was a pleasure to watch him win the Players Championship with his son present and seemed to want to win it as much for his son as himself .

Ben Roberts :  Class act and I don't think I have heard a bad word spoke about him

Eminem: No questions about his inclusion, his first few albums alone earned him the spot
Kendrick Lamar: Relatively new to the scene but is standing out miles beyond the rest right now. Will be a rap legend. 
Jay Z: Nobody has bigger status, money or relevance than him
Nas: Best lyricist in the game and firmly stood the test of time

Category Nomination: Characters of "The Simpsons" which must not be any of the 5 family members

Rather than necessarily my favourite characters, this is the Mount Rushmore that would be actually in Springfield, if there were an episode where Mount Springfield got carved:

Ned Flanders (we want this to be a monument and so a moral focal point. What better example of morality than Nedward Flanders Jr?)

Charles Montgomery Burns (Loyal resident, massive job provider and...well...someone's got to pay for this thing)

Troy McClure (Springfield's most successful actor. You might remember him from various episodes such as Bart the Mother and the 138th Episode Spectacular. Now retired, he did marry half the town and still keeps up his maintenance payments. A shoe in)

Herschel Krustovski aka Krusty the Clown (a strange choice but I can explain: Lisa thought this would be a great opportunity to recognise and remember jazz legend Bleeding Gums Murphy, so she set about getting a petition across all the residents to include him. Having persuaded, cajoled, even blackmailed her neighbours to sign, she foolishly let her brother hand it in for her, after he agreed to sign it too (awwww). He of course did what he had to do.)
