Round 1 for the top half of the men's draw and the bottom half of the women's draw is complete with the exception of Gilles Muller who is 11-11 in the 5th set against Santiago Giraldo.
The only tipped player to lose was Ana Ivanovic.

Stan Wawrinka won.
Nick Kyrgios won.
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga won.
Juan Martin del Potro won.
Gilles Muller won 15-13 in the final set in a match carried over from yesterday.

Bad news for backers of Belinda Bencic; the lovely Tsvetana Pironkova is favourite to beat her in their first round match. I'd guess that there are still doubts about her back injury.

you couldn't tell on the form she's showing today, her leg movement is so much better than a lot of the other players Still as high as 40/1 with some bookies |
