I guess it is somebody who is in his 40s listing all the clubs that were mostly in the first division when he was young, but dressing it up as something that has statistical merit. I probably have all the gold stickers somewhere.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

This should purely be based on how far away you spot your clubs shirt. If you're watching Ross Kemp on gangs and a Yardy in El Salvador is wearing a Bolton away shirt circa 2003 with Davies on the back you can consider yourself a big club.

List compiled by Stan Collymore I reckon. He's always banging on about the "grand old clubs" knocking around in the lower leagues. Watford generally end up about 88th on these lists ahead of Fleetwood, Bury, Gillingham and Aldershot.

Blackburn can never be accused of being a big club ewood park has a capacity not much over 30k and if i remember correctly they struggled to sell out most weeks when they were last in the EPL

I love this. "And a massively oversized Dagenham Motors sponsored crew-necked West Ham shirt on that refugee child registers an 8.2 on the Kemp Scale".

I never understood why fans always get so worked up about this 'big club' phrase. It means nothing. "Your team aren't a big club, we are", say 5th placed Villa fans to 9th place Man City fans? Who cares? Your TEAM is crap now. Go home and watch your VHS recording of the 1982 European Cup final and cry yourself to sleep.

Surprised Newcastle are above City. Surely Huddersfield and Preston make top 10 of this list๐๐
