Andrew Hulme and Stephen Song have agreed on a deal.

Song has a narrow lead and secured €1,233,586, while Hulme has banked €1,165,614. With both players claiming their payouts, all that remains on the line is the title, the trophy, and an additional €56,800.

They are now on Dinner Break.

That last hand before the break was an absolute beauty.

Thought he had called Sad

Queens fold was nice.  Hard to fold when you are short and running bad.

Top top result.  Congrats Andrew

WP Stato. Pretty card dead after the break except for the qq hand. Oppo played well and had decent hands to play HU. Nice pay day.

I had the good fortune to be partnered with Andrew in a Golf Day a few weeks ago (my good fortune, his bad fortune), along with a whole bunch of reprobates, degenerates, dodgy car dealers plus four or five assorted blondes who are or were all poker players, some of whom you may recognize.  For those not familiar with Andrew, he's the well-dressed handsome one at the end.

Norman Wisdom in the pink trousers?

To be fair, the likeness is uncanny. There was no need to mention it though.

Thanks so much everyone for the support!

Considering this thread was created several years ago when I had my first decent ept run in the “last ever” EPT, they’ve turned out alright for me now 😄

Kind of got dealt out HU but the key hand was the KQ hand where he found a nice bluff and I wasn’t able to find an equally nice call, based on that I think he deserved to win it… It’s really not bothering me though - amazing result for me and my family that I’ve always dreamed of but thought would probably never happen. Getting home today to my family and seeing my wife and daughter having achieved financial security for the 3 of us and seeing my little girl face crawling up to me was genuinely the best moment of my life. Soft aren’t I?!

Hopefully this isn’t the final post in this thread!

Isn't this wonderful?

"Getting home today to my family and seeing my wife and daughter having achieved financial security for the 3 of us"

PS - The KQ hand was weird, it was clear you were almost certain he was bluffing, & said as much. You SO nearly called.

Spent most of my weekend railing the stream (the German language version on Saturday) & thoroughly enjoyed every minute. When the cards were dry on Saturday you showed great patience,  then, after that fast start on Sunday, & once the field thinned a little, you opened up.

Hopefully see you & Mitch in a fortnight at our next golf outing.

Oh, I learned something watching the German language stream. German for "HOLY SHIT" is "HOLY SHIT".

Congratulations Andrew. Very well done.

A question if I may...
