Has anyone upgraded to Sky Q?

Thoughts and how much did you pay?

Due to be installed later this month. IIRC £12/month plus £100 upfront for two boxes.

Have had it since about 2 months from when it came out.  I love it,  the extra boxes around the house have stopped arguments,  4k football is awesome and the epg is much faster.  When one of the boxes started playing up, got an engineer out sharpish and he fixed it and didn't have to pay a penny.

I pay about £140 a month but have sports/movies, unlimited fibre broadband and also phone through sky

£40/month for movies and sport. Rang up and cancelled when paying £80ish, phoned back 30days later when it went off and was offered £40. Phone plus unlimited 80/20 fibre is £30/month from Plusnet.

had sky q installed just after it was launched, i have full package and about £140 a month. Put the main box in the room my dad watches tv as it was only way to put box nation on it. think btsport can only be put on the main box also.
love the fact i can access the recordings anywhere in the house and the mini boxes can be moved, the boxes are all wifi boosters too so very good wifi and extra booster will be supplied FOC if you need on.
all the equipment inside the house is rented rather than owned so they will repair everything when it breaks (but not the dish etc)

love having a lie in and watching recordings on my tablet

Had Q installed yesterday and fell foul of this as well. Apparently BT want £6/month to make it multibox but seeing as how I only paid £5/month for it in the first place we'll just have to cope with watching it on the main box.

New menu structure is proving fun - seems to be 7 button presses to get to the std TV Guide.

UHD 10bit movies and sport are pretty damn good.

Can't believe people pay £140/m for a bit of tele. You must all be nuts.

I was using Kodi for a year and sky must have sent me a new offer every month and then in November they offered me 70% off and a £75 voucher for M&S.

Snapped their hand off for that one so I have movies, sports and multi room for £32 a month and I got an M&S Christmas Dinner.

Will be cancelling again next November and flipping it to the Mrs name.
