According to this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jodi_Ewart_Shadoff
Jodie Ewart's father is an ex-jockey and trainer.
I assumed James Ewart, but he's Scottish (I think) and Jodi is from Yorkshire.
Not sure James is old enoughto have a 29 year old daughter either...
So, if not James Ewart, who is her father?
Harvey Ewart. He is listed as a groom-rider at Mark Johnston's yard.
Thanks Doobs.
Calling him a trainer is a bit of a stretch!
Reading around, he was a head lad at one time, though didn't see him listed as a trainer.
Wouldn't be surprised if he is related to James Ewart. Racing tends to run in families.

Most of the favs in the Portugal Masters are out of form, admittedly in stronger company.
Eddie Pep is only 28-1, and I wrote him off long ago, having cost me too much(cue egg on face).
A trio of players that have started to look like they are getting back to form, also have some improving year on year stats at the Victoria Club, namely Mikko Korhonnen, Robert Rock and Marc Warren.
At odds of 70x2 and Warren at a massive 150-1, I am hoping to get a bit of a run for my cash this week(cue more egg).

good shout on Warren
Cheers.
Rocky continues to disappoint, and Koronen scored much better to make the cut, but Warren is showing his shoulder injury is behind him, and we have a 150-1 joint leader going into the weekend(now around 12s), for a bit of a sweat.
Fingers crossed

Can't really name a house Marc Warren, can you?

I think you misunderstood. I have given up backing the pep.....that's why he is doing well......sure he will still bottle it, if that was not a well intended post though...fwiw

Well, Warren finished second at 150-1, for a very tidy weekend, beaten only by the guy who I pointed out in May, Lucas Beergarden, as my guy to follow for the year....a top weekend, and I hope a few followed.

Oh Good Lord. Blonde has finally lost the plot.
Plaudits aplenty elsewhere for someone picking the right side of two odds on flips, and not a bloody word for finding a 150-1 placer paying nearly 40-1 the place(not even a dig from Ralph)! Thats nearly 40 odds on flips you can lose before you are behind
I despair!
Why do I bother, I don't even get paid for sharing......

You only get plaudits on the TfT thread as this is a comparative backwater.
Some of us had already complimented you on your picks before the final round - but you can't expect adulation unless they win.

Meh

Playing a lot this week so gonna post this to the two readers early.
Presidents Cup, and no point over thinking this.
Paddy Reed finally showing some form, will be eager to play, while the headliners in the Yank Team might be a little jaded.
Top US player ew at 15-2 looks golden.
In The Masters up at Close House, its a tricky affair on a new course. Having played there a couple of times, I can confirm its tight and favours those with a fade.
George Coetzee has come back in sparkling form after a break and 50-1 for a fader in form looks tidy.
Noren is the best fader in the field
Matty Fitz is nice and straight and is blowing hot, and finally, I just have a hunch the Barn Rat is about to strike after hitting some nice rounds recently. GL to both of us!
