Proper crapshoot this week. Went for small stakes on Rahm and Noren but no real view. Just a bit of fun.

I've gone for Reed EW and Thomas win only in the "round-robin to protect the top names" match-play event.

I'm actually more interested for betting purposes in the Kia LPGA event in California where So Yeon Ryo looks a very decent proposition having fully recovered from her shoulder injury. I managed to find a little 28/1 EW 1-6 but 25/1 looks generous enough to me. She was world #1 this time last year and finished strongly last time out a couple of weeks ago in Singapore.

GL to any who play.

What are your thoughts on In Gee? I'm still convinced there's a big coup to be had. Getting 28/1+ these days.

I agree. Just a matter of time before she eliminates the errors and puts a big tourney together.

Love In Gee.

Decent start in both tourneys especially Ryu's bogey-free -4.

Have added Xander Schaffele @46 to my match-play team - he seems priced as though the match with Sergio will be a formality for the Spaniard.

Good shout on Ryu, nice to have an interest with In Gee taking the week off. I think Harman is an outright bet as well, for similar reasons.

Rory has been demolished, fingers crossed for Xander.

We make an OK team, I always remember when we nearly won the world on McNulty in the Seniors Open.

Great shout on Harman.

I watched most of it, Rory was outdriving him off the tee on most holes by 50 or 60 yards, but Harman got the job done in fine style.

Both original soldiers Thomas and Reed through to the last sixteen along with one of the two conscripts Harman for the final push.

So Yeon Ryu reasonably positioned on -6 for what is potentially a decent weekend sweat.

Noren v Thomas in the final for the sweats. Without a doubt two best players left.

I'd settle for that!

I'm actually considering bailing out of my bet on Thomas - laying 2.8 seems fairly tempting to lock up a decent overall profit having backed him @~15.

Last evening's ladies' debacle might have something to do with today's dithering..
