Just given him my first unattended nappy change/burp/feed. Quite nerve wracking but I coped well.
Easiest way of changing his nappy is on a mat on the floor I've found. Stops panicking about him falling off etc.
It's quite hard to gauge, burping him, when he's passed enough wind. If he needs burping a bit more once you
Lay him back in the basket he will wriggle about a kick his legs and arms I've found.

Just had to stop the post now to give him a burping which has settled him down no end. the key is getting his back straight
So he's not too slumped and then holding his jaw line and tilting his head forward slightly. His mum is much better at burping/winding
Than I.

I really want her to sleep as she's not had much sleep at all in the past few nights and we've both been really snappy ( I've slept in the same hospital room As her and Percy for the last 4 nights, maybe a bit of cabin fever kicked in.

If she wakes up before midnight though we're gonna get a huge takeaway 😂

Hey...nice one mate

Glad everybody is fit and healthy

Baptism of fire for sure , loving the compromise of temporarily dropping the poker and replacing it with the nags   Smiley

Trigg my old pal, you always had that one thing you need to make it in gambling and that's the survivors instinct, defo been a fair few ropey times but you always manage to get the job done Smiley

Very happy with how it's all worked out for you mate, you deserve it, for sheer bloody persistence and heart if nothing else!

Ha I've gotta be careful
Here as sir Percy has a lot of horses. I can't tell him in
A few years that he can't have Nike because the sire
Sir Percy had a bad year. Tell you what I'll do
If someone can make a spreadsheet I'll have a tenner win
On all 'Percy' names and any profit come the end of the season
I'll donate to jessops hospital in Sheffield as they were truly wonderful
With us.

OT but did anyone see Colin Murray say to Keith Gillespie
"Id give you the password to my betting account, to have been at
Monineux" absolutely disgraceful making light of a gambling addiction
Like that

TBH Colin Murray is a *** and a shit commentator

Deece. Should be quite interesting for me this as having a kid and gambling during the process is hopefully something I will be undertaking in a few years time.

More importantly though is the update from last night. Did she happen to "wake" at 11.58pm just in time for the huge takeaway? What did you order if so?

I like Rose Eclair in that 5.45 race.
