Ignoring the preflop call (both players in the hand massively overplayed their hands after the flop so I had reasons for making the call), would anyone have played the hand differently on the flop?

It turns out that you made the correct decision, since you are 43% to win in a three way pot when the big money goes in. Technically if your bankroll isn't a factor you should be happy to put a lot of money in the pot - in fact as much as possible.

But I'm not sure that I would've played the hand the same way you did. A lot of the profit you make from playing drawing hands aggressively comes from making your opponents fold when they should call. Against loose opponents who will call with all kinds of weak hands, I don't make these aggressive moves early on. Instead I play a little more passively and see what happens. Sometimes a card will come on the turn that kills my draw, like a board pair as in your example, and I'll fold (having saved money that I would have lost by pushing in on the flop) A lot of the time I'll make my hand and get paid off anyway.

It all depends on whether you can handle the big swings that come with making this kind of move, with increased long-term profit as a reward. I don't think I can.

I don't think I can flat call here, as If I make my flush draw for example, I'm going to struggle to get much more out of the hand.  Plus the maniac that bet first with his kings will push all in anyway with his overpair, although obviously didnt know that for sure at the time.

My bankroll can cope with these swings, but I don't particularly enjoy losing $2.5K pots lol.  Although in these circumstances I like to think of it as if I've only lost $450 (my initial buy in to the table), and taken a 50/50 gamble to quintuple my buy in.
