He doesn't seem to be on my telly.

So you've got Virgo then?

Rock &  hard place, that.

Life is full of trade offs.

I open this thread to see what Ralph has put and...  Well, you get my drift.

How very dare you!

I always think Virgo missed his calling as a ventriloquist as his lips never seem to move.

What a laconic, almost careless cue action mark Allen has.

Ronnie seems to have vowed to express every thought through facial expressions.

Huge under achiever for me in his career.  Lovely to watch on his day.

Comparatively low standard of snooker this week with more than it's fair share of complete dross.

The long swan-neck rest which bore a passing resemblance to Robin Hood's bow rejected by Mark Allen in favour of the old rest stacked on spider tecnique was a highlight.

With Higgins comfortably despatched, should now be a good final between Wilson and Allen?

I actually enjoy the low standard matches when players are struggling. For me it adds to the tension & drama. Lots of ooh and ahh moments.

Yep. I wouldn't like to call it.

I think Allen will win it though.

I've been toying with this idea for a while.

What if they were to make the foul shot penalty 16 points?

My instinct was bad idea, then I thought and thought some more, I quite like it. Can we revert to 4 on the colours?

There are pros and cons to reverting to 4 points on the colours.

I like the "ball in hand" rule for any foul that they use in 9-ball pool.

I reckon that would work for snooker too.
