I've been toying with this idea for a while.

What if they were to make the foul shot penalty 16 points?

I like the "ball in hand" rule for any foul that they use in 9-ball pool.

I reckon that would work for snooker too.

Yes, that would be interesting too.

Interesting match this - I think Wilson is the better player(more finesse than Allen) but he needs to hold his nerve to show it.

When Wilson delivers the cue he does it in two stages. He pushes it forward the first couple of inches really slowly and then accelerates to the required speed.

What's so unusual about a 40-minute frame?

Looks like his head has gone.

Here's a quiz question for you. Why so many wasps and flies at Ally Pally at this time of year?

What looked to me like an absurd fluke snooker behind the yellow gives Wilson a chance to get his head back in gear, and he took his chance well, so that might settle him down.

Not really fussed who wins, two smashing players. Think Wilson has a terrific future.

I don't think I've ever seen a better, more consistent long ball potter than Wilson.

Just as I read that he missed that red by a mile.

I fancy the gritty Graeme Dott to give Sean Murphy a very tough match in their semi-final today.

If Murphy has one of his not infrequent careless days 9/4 Dotty looks like decent value to me.

Graeme Dott. Like a snooker player, only smaller.
