Got to hate what the UK championship has turned into schedule wise.

Ronnie gets a SPOTY nomination.

Clear 2nd fav behind Hamilton.   Ronnie doesn't want to attend the event.  Fury doesn't want the public to vote for him because he is 'the people's champion anyway and doesn't need awards'.   The worst edition of Spoty in history.Chris Board is one of the six and wasn't deemed good enough to play the entire summer test series when fully fit!

Ronnie's break at 4 - 2 down vs Li is probably the best I have ever seen.

Surely the referee was wrong in the three miss ruling. (Frame 3, O'Sulivan vs Hawkins)

Opinions from people who understand the 3 miss rule and saw the incident please.

"just a foul"...

One salty reply was.....

"Unacceptable behaviour, but so was John Higgins for match fixing."

Hope that doesn't set a precedent.   You'd think he should forfeit the frame, but I don't know the rules as well as the fella that gave the foul.

If taking a second shot after a miss is just a foul, why not play the white into baulk after you have missed and left a load of reds on?
