EPT to return?

We all know that the EPT was a booming success; we all know the Pokerstars Championship have been a disaster.

I remember wondering if they would re-brand a while back and this seemed more obvious a move with restructuring at Stars and the stiff competition they now face from Party.

Well, anyway, look who submitted some trademark applications recently for their new (slightly different) logo:

Was a terrible idea from Stars to ditch the EPT, after building up the brand over so many years.

Sincerely hope, even if they do bring it back, that people stay away. More rake is not better.

They have bought back the PCA.  The pokerstars championship was supposed to unite all the brands, so now that name is abandoned for the PCA, there is no obvious need to now use that name over EPT.
