Inspired by RedDog and the love for the Nationwide adverts involving poetry and ditties, here is a place for your favourite adverts. Reasoning welcome.

Plenty of big obvious ones. Will start with a couple of my many pleasureables:

Levi's - Flat Eric

Respectable gentlemen with creases in their garments. This was the golden era of Levi's adverts.

Carling Black Label - Mission Impossible

A simple concept and an effective catchphrase.

How was this made in 1992? Makes me feel so old.

I remember the first time I saw this ad as a testosterone fuelled 17 year old.

It was before a film at the cinema and I'm pretty sure it didn't air on mainstream TV due to the content being a bit risqué.

I've no idea what the film was but I remember seeing the ad as if it were yesterday.

Most of you won't know this one, but it was absolutely huge in Ireland in the early 80s. It's still the most-remembered ad ever in the country.

Not a very good ad really, but the reaction was all about Sally O'Brien and the way she might look at you.

Vicki Michelle was Irish before she became French.

Perusing some articles on Game of Thrones I discovered one of the actors was in the old Scott's Porridge Oats adverts (posted purely for balance).

Being from a Scottish family always loved this advert as a kid the Irn Bru advert.  When the scottish kid lifts up the kerb to sweep the leafs away when he mates ask 'you coming to the footba?' haha
