1500 stud hi lo

Ouch, made a big fold fifth street. Was 'correct' but very close whether I've got odds to call or not. I had two hearts vs Boujian's (xx) , and third player's (xx) two hearts . Third player raised fifth (with a draw, two hearts , pretty inexplicable in a three way pot, given it gives me a good chance to fold and its not quite for value), and Ishmael at that point had two pair. Will run a calculation when I'm back at computer, but I guess it feels right to fold if it's at best tiny +EV, in a good tournament

You got railers that can do the mundane stuff  Grin Depends what the two pair was and I've guessed where you have a couple of cards duplicated.

$10000 no limit deuce

Took a while out, decided i felt good and entered the 10k deuce to seven.

So important to not measure it at all relative to the earlier events of the day, and instead remember that it is a big, great event.

Monnete has helped me by talking about the DC, so if everyone is now slightly more likely to assume I might play quick, there's even more reason to play steady

Can you elaborate on this? Sorry if its referenced in another post that I've missed.

Can't remember whether I said well done on the 2nd yet, but if not, jolly well done!

1500 stud hi lo

Right, I'm going to blame the Rio WiFi as well as me, but realised sorry that yesterday's last update didn't go through.

After the initial rise, it was a steady dip sadly, which ended in level seven. Bust out hand, I was down to 800 at 200-400(100), meaning a win would triple me up, and so went with (44)6 against a K door in late position (In stud hilo, its necessary to open up your calling all in range when very short, because of the antes creating big pots).

Before that, I had had to fold alot of sixth streets, which is never a good or cheap thing! Don't think I would change anything

10000 HORSE

An exciting one, again. I think it will get the biggest field of the limit 10ks, which makes it a good field.

Up to 55k in level two (50k starting stack)

So, yes, I just felt that maybe Monette had inadvertently helped me by setting me an image that wasn't correct. He was talking about the heads up, and i think expected me to be a lot more disappointed than I was, so I felt it might set to the table that I might be playing splashy. It was of course a re entry as well (I was never re-entering)

Thanks so much mate, still feels fairly quiet for Brits here!
