I raise Ah from the HJ, Jesus three bets the button, Obst flats the small, I four bet. Both call.

Obst is almost surely capped to TT (JJ at a stretch) and AQ (AK at a stretch).

Flop . I decide now that I might be able just enough to barrel, if the hands are close to AQ and TT.

I bet, both call.

Turn . I bet, both call. Barrel did not work.

River .

Obst leads. I just call.

I now think his hands in order of likely hood are AQ, AK, JJ. He mucks, it's a lovely pot, guess it was the AQ

Yeah, he didn't do anything for about 3secs, so i decided just to show. Fine for me to wait, but I took that as him saying that AK was good.

Definitely something slightly strange happened. You would think he would show AQ (he's definitely not a difficult character), but I can't see any worse hand that he call- calll-leads with. If its anything, it's 99 into a Bluff i guess, but it's just not.

David Baker opens UTG, i three bet . He check calls every street on . He has the absolute top of his range, i guess- the other two Kings. Ohel now says he had Kings the previous hand. Presumed true.


Baker raises button, I three bet Ah , he calls. Board , I bet, he calls. Turn . If I bet, its value rather than a barrel. I check, he checks.

River blanks . I check, he bets. Hmm. I am almost sure he bets the turn if he needs to bluff. Fold

I have ( ) (), opponent has (xx)   (x). I check, he bets. I have bet every street and we have both checked sixth.

All three options are there. I possibly should check raise Bluff. Its just not expected enough by most that I migh turn three Kings into a Bluff. But its still the case that people can believe you and put in a crying call. If not that, i of course need to consider that I am winning often enough to call.
