It's a nice merge. It is mostly aimed to get him off an inferior low and slightly better high hand, but there is a small chance he will have A3 and a lesser high.

He thinks for ages, and must have been close to folding, but does call with  (4th nut low, two pair)

Important that I have two blockers to the nuts. I may get him to fold nut flush draw with a hand like A542, and I definitely might get him to fold AQJ2 .

Just one potential regret today. At 200/400, raided to 900 with , Negreanu called BB.

Flop was  , for the joint (nut high, nut low)

He check-called my 1,600 bet.

Turn was .

The standard decision would be to just go for three streets of value. But I decided to play it different. By checking, there is a very good chance he will Bluff with a low on the river. That is what happened, and I repotted to a big 23k. It nearly worked- he started saying that he thought I was bluffing with a high, but eventually found a good fold.

Maybe I should just value bet three streets. On the paired five, there will be enough highs that are a chop, that I need to focus my value on the times he has a low.

Anyway- 36k, 20 mins to go
