Tikay baseball update

Apologies for the delay on this.

Fantastic company, nice atmosphere, not so sure on the sport.

The highlights:

Tikay gets very excited about a dog who has been trained to bring out the bat.

Tal is kind enough to explain many intricacies of the rules. I still have no idea what is going on.

Likely spades from the start. Fourth I make a pair of kings ( ) . He catches a spade (xx) . I check, it's really close whether to check raise or not. I don't- likely three low to go along with likely four spades.

Fifth I make three kings, ( ) . He bricks (xx) . I bet, standard. He calls.

Sixth he likely gets there for the  flush- my ( ) Vs his (xx) . I check call.

One time 7th? Yes. ( ) (). I check, he bets. Feel four seconds is about my standard 'tank' before raising.

He hates it. He says 'damn, I nearly checked.' He thinks for ages and folds. I mean, there is very good logic- I kind of have to have it given my check-raise and my call on 6th. But still, just world class at 9 to 1. He'll be a good player one day.

Interesting side note is that if I had turned trip kings into a bluff,  it does indeed work.

Nice bluff on Todd brunson.

He raises a J, Fingers calls a 5, I have (A4)3 and decide to two bet.

That two bet means I can bet all the way with the boards having equal equity. Brunson must almost definitely have a pair of jacks, and does fold it on 6th when I make (A4)3898. Fingers misses his low and a pair of eights is good for a scoop
