Been a few years since we've had a funk thread, & this one is only small beer, but Marky147 is in good shape for the final day of SPT Brighton.

He used to play a lot of poker, these days rarely plays except on his annual Vegas jaunts, but he came along to Brighton, with his Dad - who many of you know - just so we could hook up for a bit of craic.

He somehow survived all day yesterday on a super short stack, then somehow doubled up three times near the death. So now he has 50% above average.

He's a smashing bloke, real man, & I hope he gets the lot today.

Other blondes who played include Jeff Kimber, who is still in with about 30,000, & Adzy.

"Jac" (Paul Jackson from Next Door, but not THE Paul Jackson) is still in too.

I shared tables briefly with Adzy on Day 1, & we spent a good few hours yesterday morning just chatting, was great to see him. Sadly, he bust yesterday.

Ridic scenes here.

Almost the very next hand, Paul Jackson (not the poker player, this is the one from Next Door) gets in a raising war with Marky & it all goes in.

Paul Jackson had

Marky?

The kings hold & he scoops another 60,000 to go over 200,000.

Our man is currently behaving himself with about 165,000, with blinds at 2,000-4,000/500.
