90 left in the second break of the day. At least one olympic gold medallist remains.

As he's a gooner, it would be a pleasure to beat Audley heads up.

I still need a double up. Think I've been saying that for 20 something levels now.

Sam Razavi opens to 130k. I shove 640k with AK.

Sam calls with aces, which seems reasonable.

I offered him a chop before the flop, telling him it was his final chance. He declined and luckily got away with the win.

80th place. Won't lie: pretty chuffed. I should be gutted at getting past over 3,000 people and being 79 away from $400,000. But, no, I know I've played fine, ridden my luck and have everything I could fairly have asked for when I sat down yesterday to play.

We'll get 'em next time.

I chanced it one more time, he has 600,000, which is exactly average. 3,200 entries, 215 left.

Excellent stuff old chap. A great start.

Can't help noticing though maybe you should grasp the nettle and take a leave out of the book of the guy next to you, before that leaf or nettle blows off.

Very nice run, Tal, and good luck with the rest of your schedule.

Just for you Ralph

Omaha on my table was very enjoyable
There was a massive queue of alternates
Who having bought in were waiting for a seat just before - as in 5 pm
closing reg time 7 pm
It was the most enjoyable 600$ I’ve spent this trip
Old Japanese lady from Sydney flew in for a month to play wsop was a comedy genius she amassed a good stack muffin n duffin me n her n a lady between us from Colorado really got some banter going
I can’t remember Omaha hands
I had suited aces cracked 3-4 x and was soon down to 20 k from 30 k stack
It was a real grind
Once mrs Colorado bust
A youngish guy came in
He knocked 3-4 people out and 4 x his stack in 3 hands boom 1-2-3 of his first hands after sitting
I thought you big headed c* nt
But as I sat n observed he was just a very very good player
He always knew what the pot was what the winning had should have chip wise
He was all inwith a guy and the dealer said 56 k as he lost
No it’s 52 k he said
He was right every time
Very clever
Very observant
Very good player
I bust out n left
I’m booked in to play super seniors Monday 17 ththat will be my last time at the Rio
Toilet queues are ridiculous
Couple times when needing a shit I nearly never made it - all them lobster tails reappearing outta my tailpipe !
It’s so busy there honestly bring some food like cereal bars n be self sufficient
I was right in a corner such a trek for the toilet so I didn’t drink anything all afternoon
My mate paul Fowler 5 th at aria Omaha for $3500 I got 20% of him 1400 so paid him 700 yesterday over breakfast so nearly freerolling there
He’s in the $1 k weds
At 60 it’s a struggle joint as in hip n knee joint wise to sit there that long
