It would appear that John Duthie changed his name some time between Day 2 & 3.

#58 $50,000 Poker Players Championship (8 Game)

This was the day of the big-hitters!

Day 2 has ended with 3 Brits still in.

Matthew Ashton   911,000

Matthew & Luke are both chasing their second bracelets.

Luke has already picked up one this series in the $10k 2.7 Triple Draw.

Matthew's previous bracelet was in this very event in 2013.

You are doing a great job here Albus, but you may have been given duff info there, there were a lot more than that, including several blondes (Patrick Leonard who is pleno on blonde & David Barraclough who is doobs) as well as the likes of Tony Bloom, John Kabbaj & Jeff Duvall.

Here's the full list in chip count order;

And by name;

And finally, by their day 2 seat & Table draw;

Keep up the good work though Bud, it's a great service you are doing, so thank you.

I went looking because I knew Pleno and Doobs we’re both still in, and spotted a couple of other Union Flags.

Pleno  145,000
Doobs.  73,800
Pete Linton - a name from the glory days of Blonde updates at DTD 70,400
Tony Bloom - is that THE Tony Bloom? 71,300

I have Pete Linton at my table today, so can pass on any regards.   Tony introduced me to him a few years ago.   I also have Mike Sexton at my table, which could be interseting.   Love these O8 tables, we had one bad egg yesterday, but most are very pleasant.

I sat next to Navin Bechar yesterday, and we seemed to run up our stacks up and down in unison.  I think the average of our two stacks ws less than starting with an hour to go.   Good luck if you pop by.

Cheers Tikay & Longines.

It looks like I only copied down to the bottom of the Pavilion seating & missed the Miranda - oops!

I thought we were a little light in an omaha event!

Good to see Paresh Doshi still in.

He has 3 WSOP omaha cashes already this series and recently added $1600 for 2nd place at a Short Deck tourney @ Golden Nugget

Sorry for delay in today's updates. Busy playing 1/1 cash at Aspers then converting part of profit into a £220 ticket.
