Carl Shaw was involved in an early incident in which he doubled up.

Less than two levels into the day, hearing a floor shout for security is always a peculiar incident.

According to Carl Shaw, he'd just eliminated an opponent in a three-bet pot with QQ against A 9. They got it in on a nine-high board and queens held to eliminate his opponent.

His opponent allegedly then stood up and threatened to hit Shaw, after which a slanging match broke out and eventually the player was escorted from the room.

Main Event Final Tablist Marchington Going Well

Following on from his seventh-place finish in the 2019 WSOP Main Event, Nick Marchington has hopped into the final event of the summer, hoping to "do a Cada" and win a bracelet after busting from the Main Event final table!

He has currently run his starting stack up to 190k from his 30k starting stack
