They were a bit behind with him this year after picking up an injury, so that's not a bad run.

Young improving horse beat him, and he doesn't like that gluey ground.

I've doubled him for National, with the donald Cheesy

Another monster of a horse. Think I might reinvest a bit on him for the supreme next year.

Anyone else think Aso looks a cracking 25/1 ew poke?

My ew dabble on Concertista @33/1 is tomorrow's main interest.

I've been hoisted by my own petard I think after nicking a bit of 9/4 Chacun after hearing about Altior.

Nothing appearing yet on my BF statement.

Settled as a loser despite the bet being placed just before the AP market came down Sad

I lie it, and am backing Aso each way tomorrow; and likely backing A Plus Tard to win.

FWIW I put Aso in a huge chunk of my ten to follow lists when the subs were made a few days ago.  I thought it was the best big priced horse in the bonus races at Cheltenham that I hadn't covered well, so made sense for lists that were quite a long way behind.

The ground has firmed up a bit to soft, with good to soft in parts.  It was said to be heavy ny some on day 1.

I'll probably back Aso, too. Should think the ground will still be quite soft, but nice fresh ground today.

Was raining last night, but no idea how much/long.
