Probably a poor question since people can actually know that one spot on. Well done to those who did though.

One question to go and Arb has a huge lead but the last question is a volatile one. Close in behind for the places.

Despite a relatively poor final question, Arb sees it out comfortably to take the victory. Impressive scoring.

Well done to Ledders and TightEnd, who complete the top 3 respectively.

Big thanks to all who took part, appreciated. Version 2 coming tonight for a tomorrow reveal, with all answers under 100 which should give a closer game.

I'm happy with that after my debacle with the gold medals! Think I did total medals in my quick maths (that's my story & I'm sticking to it).

Thanks for running! In for the next

Post Quiz Analysis

Rubbish247: Got off to a really solid start but the Mayweather question essentially knocked him out of contention. A poor final question knocked him off the podium and in to a 4th place finish.

Karabiner: Never really got going but impressive 4 pointer on the athletics question was the highlight.

Ledders: Complete mixed bag on way to a 2nd place finish. 1 pointer on the Augusta question had him up there early but was followed up by the tricky Olympics question and he couldn't recover enough to catch Arb. Zero points on the Strongman question with a 3 and 16 pointer in there too.

ripple11: Unfortunately nothing to write home about and a 10th place finish. The Leicester age question for 30 points being the highlight.

arbboy: Sat off the pace after 3 questions after a blip on the Olympics questions but from there was utterly dominant and had 5 out of 9 single point answers. Too good.

bunnydas: Absolutely destroyed his chances with the medals questions where he scored a highest of the quiz 576pts. Only accumulated 223 points in all the other questions, could easily have been a different story. Respectable finish in the middle of the field nevertheless.

TightEnd: Floated about mid-table for the majority but finished strong to take 3rd. One of a few to know Eddie Hall's figure and also scored well on the World Record question.

Doobs: Strong start but would then call his own demise ITT and he moved backwards before maintaining a mid-table finish. Mayweather's rounds really took the stuffing out of any potential challenge for the top 3. Highlight was a 4 pointer in the World Records question, although the 15 pointer on the Federer question is arguably better.

stato: Poor start and a worse finish meant stato never got going. Very impressive middle section run of 5, 34, 14 and 7 helped him to a one time 4th place but slipped to a final position of 6th.

celtic: Up with the pacemakers early but fell at the medals hurdle. Recovered with 2 and 14 points afterwards impressively but then the top scorers question did for any potential challenge. Tailed off late and had to settle for 7th place.

Minor blow up by celtic leaves arbboy well clear after 6 questions.

Celtic thought Chris Boyd was a modern day Ally mccoist! haha  had him in for 350 odd SPL goals!

I probably should have had hammer included, forgot it even existed when coming up with the question.

I mistook Mayweather for somebody who had only 30 fights and knocked a few more out :/

Thanks for running, I enjoyed that and will def participate in more.

The Fed number 1, Man City spend and Olympic medals were the best questions in terms of making educated guesses with a broad range of possible answers imo
