We have reached the half way point of the season and two men hold a one point lead. degston77, last season's 2nd place finisher, and TightEnd sit on an impressive 19 points out of an available 20. KarmaDope, who had been tied with the aforementioned duo, scores his first zero pointer of the season and drops to 6th but is still a big threat. HutchGF and superwomble sit only 1pt behind the leaders on 18pts with Tal only one point further back.

The winner could come from anywhere at this stage with many points to be won and Archer and Rubbish2407 will still fancy their chances despite sitting outside the top 6. Pokerpops continues to defy his odds and it can be argued that he's well in with a chance of challenging for the title.

In the bottom 6, ForthThistle's surge ended with a single pointer and he is now 3pts from safety with 4KSuited answering correctly to move on to the same score as Forth. bergeroo made up for his error on Q9 to score two points and move away from the bottom spot. celtic and nirvana are tied at the bottom, with only one correct answer so far each.

A bit of a thinker of a question but it could not catch out the top 2 who both answered correctly and in doing so benefited from superwomble's error to shake off one of their challengers. They didn't manage to shake off the other however as HutchGF continues his excellent debut season, sitting one point behind the leaders. Tal moved in to a tie for 4th with superwomble with KarmaDope slipping a point behind those two. Karma's season is beginning to resemble S-2 as he started strong but had a sluggish middle section.

Defending champion Rubbish2407 has now scored zero points in 3 of his last 4 questions and is in serious danger of losing touch with the top 6 with Archer and Juperjiper also between him and one of those coveted positions. He is also only 1pt behind 4 other players and if he can't get out of this slump continue continue to slip down the rankings. Karabiner has had a rough run with only one correct of his last 4 and he is now only 1pt from safety.

Plenty of correct answers in the bottom 6 but not for nirvana who is now 2pts from the nearest player. celtic moans it in.
